Cr30Ni70 Nickel-Chromium-Iron Alloy with Good Anti-Oxidation and Anti-Corrosion Performance for Electrical Applications

Cr30Ni70, with 70% nickel and 30% chromium, is recognized for its excellent properties below 1050°C, including good oxidation resistance, thermal strength, and a low positive temperature coefficient. It exhibits high plasticity, cold stamping, and welding properties at room temperature. After solution treatment, the alloy forms a single-phase austenite structure, providing structural stability during use. It has a density of 8.1 g/cm³, a resistivity of 1.18 μΩ·m at 20°C, and a melting point between 1370-1410°C.
Cr30Ni70 is used in various applications such as heating elements in periodic heat treatment furnaces below 1050°C, and as high-quality heat-resistant steel structural parts like shafts and burning frames. Its high resistivity makes it suitable for electric heating elements in household appliances and industrial ovens.
