Why Choose Senphus Underfloor Heating Mat?
1. We have strong production and R&D capabilities and can customize your needs.
2. The product has a service life the same as the building and is maintenance-free.
3. Intelligent temperature control system adjusts the temperature.
4. Passed most of the environmental protection and safety certifications in Europe, the United States and China.
5. Can match most existing thermostats, very easy to install.
6. China's largest heating alloy wire manufacturer.
All the core materials of Senphus electric heating mats are manufactured by Senphus' own factory. The heating alloy wire produced by Senphus is in a leading position in the industry and has won the largest market share in China by relying on stable quality. Senphus heating mats have passed many international certifications, including UL, CE, IAF, VDE and other certifications. Each product is tested according to CSA standards to ensure product quality. Usually Senphus heating mats can work continuously for more than 50 years, which is equivalent to the life of the building itself.
Work Principle
Typically, a Senphus floor heating system includes the following components:
1. Smart Thermostat
2. Temperature Sensors
3. Senphus Heating Cables
4. Aluminum Reflective Film
5. Steel Mesh or Fiber Glass Mesh
6. Fill Layer
7. Insulation Board
8. Decorative Board
Senphus heating cable lowtemperature radiation heating system is: The worktemperature is 40degreeto 60 degree sfter the powerSupply has been tum on and the heat is elimilated throughfloor(or wall, ceiling),when the few convective heat transferheat the surrounding air, most of them radiate heat to thesurrounding things, which absorb the heat, meanwhile, theirsurfacewarms up so that the room temperature is riseand kept.
Constant power heating cables typically consist of four layers: the conductor, insulation, braiding, and outer protective layer. Each layer is crafted from high-quality materials. The inner conductor, a resistive wire, is resistant to oxidation. The tin-plated copper wire is designed to withstand prolonged heat exposure without breakage, making it an excellent choice for heating conductors. The insulation material is generally made from fluoropolymer, a type of plastic. The braided layer functions as a shield against electromagnetic radiation and also provides grounding protection. As electromagnetic radiation is known to be harmful to health, our heating pads are designed to emit zero electromagnetic field, a critical feature for indoor floor heating systems. The outer protective layer is made from fluoropolymer or PVC, allowing for use in damp environments, and even those with acidic or alkaline conditions.
How to Choose the Right Heating Mat
When selecting the appropriate wattage for your heating mats, several factors must be considered: the size of your home, the rated power of your home's electrical grid, and the insulation of your dwelling. Typically, our heating mats have a power range of 60-300 watts per square meter. For instance, if your home requires a total heating area of 50 square meters, the total power range would be 3KW to 15KW. If this exceeds your home's electrical capacity, you can either opt for a higher wattage heating mat while reducing the heated area or choose a lower wattage heating mat. However, a lower wattage heating mat will take longer to reach the desired temperature, potentially compromising user experience.
Senphus floor heating mats Q&A
1. Is it safe?
Yes, it's very safe. The inherent safety design of high-quality heating cables ensures their safe operation. The heating element of the cable is first wrapped in a layer of Teflon, which can withstand temperatures up to 205°C without releasing harmful gases. Additionally, it is wrapped in a layer of metal shielding wire to prevent electric leakage and shield the electromagnetic waves generated by the heating cable. Finally, the cable is encased in an outer layer of Teflon or PVC, ensuring resistance to corrosion in humid environments.
2. What is the heating mats' lifespan?
Laboratory simulations have demonstrated a minimum service life of 50 years. Typically, heating cables installed in concrete layers and wires embedded in walls are indistinguishable, providing a lifespan equivalent to the building itself.
3. Can I trim the heating mat?
Certainly, you can easily trim the mat to fit your desired room dimensions. However, please note that you must not cut the heating wires!
