NIMONIC 80A/N07080 Bar/Rod/Wire/Forging/Plate/Strip Weldable And Extensible For Chemical Process Equipment
Nimonic 80A (UNS N07080) is a nickel-chromium alloy reinforced with titanium and aluminum, offering excellent high-temperature strength, oxidation resistance, and creep resistance up to ~815°C (1500°F). It is precipitation-hardened and widely used in turbine blades, fasteners, exhaust valves, and other components exposed to heat and stress. Nimonic 80A exhibits good fatigue and thermal stability, making it ideal for aerospace, power generation, and automotive engine applications. It is available in bar, rod, wire, forging, plate, and strip forms and offers excellent mechanical performance, corrosion resistance in oxidizing environments, and reliable service life under cyclic conditions. Its good workability and weldability also support precision manufacturing and complex shaping in demanding thermal environments.
